I hope I'm wrong, but I suspect they'll land on "return to normalcy" as the presumed slam dunk. "Acknowledge valid concerns" from the other side, "cut back the worst excesses of this overcorrection", squeak out a compromise bill with 51% while fundraising off the tight polling.
