But if you do that, you’re abandoning children, the elderly, and all manner of people who disagree with what this incompetent governor is pulling.

Instead our kids suffer, our elderly suffer, we all suffer because we're paralyzed over a handful people in red states who won't or can't move? I don't accept that. When I left Florida I heard all the excuses for not moving and they boiled down to convenience over conscience.
How would my moving to an already blue state change anything? Anyway it’s too cold in most of them, and food’s not very good.
I would have never lived in Florida… I know about the issues that red states have. How do they escape realizing that they exist financially only because they are massively subsidized by the blue states that so many there hate.
Let's keep in mind that the State of FL turned Blue for both Obama elections. Since then, FL has been gerrymandered into oblivion for the red hats.
They don't realize they count on blue states for survival. That's why it's going to be a big wake up call when the sane two-thirds of the country finally cuts off the deadbeats. I'm guessing that will get their attention.
That’s the most certain way of ending the United States that I can imagine; pull it apart from the inside out. We are THE United States. It’s far too strong of a reaction. I have no wish to see my country pulled apart. That’s not well thought out, but rather stated with rancor.
In case you haven't caught up yet, the US we knew is already over. There's no recovering...to where? To what we had? There's no going back. What's left is going to fall apart and there are two ways that can happen: Planned or unplanned.
Rancor continues. Take it elsewhere. It’s toxic.
This is my post. You piss off. You're the one in denial.
…is your opinion. Feelings aren’t facts.
Facts are facts. USA 1.0 is over and it's not coming back. I know it's hard for some people to accept but that's the reality.
It’s your angry opinion. Keep it to yourself.
I'm not angry. You're the one in denial. I deal with it all the time. Sad but inevitable.
I don’t want anyone to suffer. I was responding to someone who was speaking of cutting off all aid to Louisiana, without regard to all of its citizens who’d not even taken a stand on the side of their corrupt Governor. You don’t allow kids to die because of idiotic adult politics!
Yeah, that was me and I stand by that position. We're not going to get through this without suffering. I think it's worse to hold the majority of the country hostage to a handful of people who should have moved decades ago.
