Whole doctorate degrees of philosophy, psychology, sociology in the breakdown via alienation/social atomization of people's access to, like, "fulfillment". Maybe worth thinking abt how to build societies in which people don't feel the need to perform "ironic" violence for subcultural cachet, tho.
Like fuck all these dudes. They're all scumbags. But part of having Hopeful Ideals is i have to briefly sublimate my disgust in moments when i Imagine a Better Future, cuz the scumbags will need to eat in that better future, too. And maybe if their needs are met there's less impetus for scumbaggery.
