Unfortunately in dc Trump found a little used workaround to make his order lawful so refusing could end up in court marshal but not so in other cities its up to American citizens now to stop it there is going to be bad trouble eventually

The illegality of any particular order is rarely determinable by the individual service member. That's why there are lawyers who must be consulted. That is why service members are routinely trained about their duties AND obligations.
