No one said you hate democracy. I said if Republicans can hold their nose and vote for a felon to usher in authoritarianism we can hold our nose and vote for Newsom (if he’s the candidate) to save democracy.

Not only is it morally wrong to vote for Newsom, it will fail. A vote for Newsom is a vote for Trump. He is guaranteed to lose. He is extremely unpopular, very right wing, and paradoxically perceived as a swarmy commie by conservatives, moderates, & independents - even though he is closer to Trump.

I don’t understand your reasoning. I don’t see how a vote for Newsom is a vote for a felon. Is Newsom tearing down the economy and trying to fire the Fed Chairs? Is he beholden to SCOTUS? Help me understand.
