Not quite back to where I like it, but nearly there. Need a couple more weeks of strength training.
Great news! I'm told mine's not fixable except via (more) surgery that could leave me paralysed below the waist if anything went awry. I'll take back pain over not being able to climb the stairs to my barn apartment any day.
I was offered radio frequency denervation in 2016. Decided against it, as not permanent. Did strengthing the muscles instead. Works for me provided I don't have time off, such as being stuck in darm hospital. The ankle fusions are difficult, 6 weeks on a knee scooter, but have exercises I can do.
Agree re back surgery, Davr. Still a bit risky. Not like knee and hip replacements which are mostly pretty darn successful these days. My knees are fantastic!
