If listeners and readers of NPR don’t understand that Congress is controlled by Republicans, maybe they should spent some time watching Schoolhouse Rock videos. Point is that I agree with the public making that distinction but I don’t know that I need Steve & friends doing it.

Many members of the public won't make the distinction if Steve & friends don't. Marginal voters will say 'Congress' and be mad at everybody.
