You take everything Marc says at face value? Ok. We disagree, I don't. This gets him out of the need to win here and/or Misano and pumps up his brother at the same time. You think if this was the last race of 2025 & the championship was still undecided that Alex would have beaten Marc? No chance.

Marc says Alex was faster here. Alex says he was faster here. All their rivals pinned Alex, not Marc, as the favourite, both before the weekend and after qualifying. Marc has never been strong at this track, Alex always has.

"Marc has never been strong at this track, Alex always has." Won in 125cc in 2010, MotoGP in 2014 and 2019, DNF in 2015, 2nd in 2016, 2017 to Dovi and 2nd in 2018 to Lorenzo. Not winning every race but in my opinion, that's strong. We all know about since 2020, so that isn't representative.

Marc (like all of them) is a mercenary, he doesn't (really) care about Ducati. They're just a means to an end.
