I can’t be snarky about this, because it’s horrifying that he’s going to destroy another one of America’s greatest institutions of learning. This just makes me want to weep.

My home town of Bristol in the UK benefitted greatly from the patronage of Edward Colston. He made his considerable fortune by trafficking slaves from Africa to the USA. These people were packed literally like sardines in the wooden ships to allow for the inevitable deaths the transport caused. 😱
