Feeling more and more thankful I grew up before the internet was omnipresent, when we spent most of our time watching old movies on cable or browsing encyclopedias and accidentally acquiring a level of literacy that will cause future generations to think us wizards.
On cable? Tut, tut, Boze. My old movies were on a 1950s television set.

It feels simultaneously great and deeply, deeply unsettling.
I get sucked into my phone way too often and for too long each day. It’s becoming worse and worse quality and more and more addictive. It’s exacerbating my mental illness! We have more and more DVDs/BluRays/records/CDs and books in the house these days and it’s keeping me from spiraling into doom.
Anyhow, I only remember the 90s and am grateful I had my greedy little child fingers in the back doors of what are now way too streamlined OS products.
I'm glad I'm part of the bridge generation so I mostly use my old habits plus new technology to fall down rabbit holes on Wikipedia and end up reading about Chernobyl or the intricacies of chicken farming at 2am.
