That’s what we gave our kid, especially the mythology (Norse, Chinese, Greek, Irish - any we could find). She is about to turn 21 & she’s a fucking genius and a problem-solver and a thinker. When I see people handing babies a phone or iPad to hush them, it sickens me. Kids don’t need screens.

I’m staying alive so that I can ask AI to summarize all of popular media into 5 min audio files I can listen to while I eat what AI tells me to have for lunch I don’t want thought or experience or intimacy, just mindless insatiable consumption to please the market
And readers in their environment outside of school.
They need weird tangents that are not related to what they will be tested on, but will inspire a love for learning and expose them to humanity's timeless quirks.

The point is to brainwash children with single sources of information with no human intervention.
