If you’ve never read A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, do yourself a favor and read it during the holidays. It’s one of the greatest books ever written, it takes less than two hours to read and once you finish, you can say you’ve read one book by Charles Dickens.
Also, A Muppet’s Christmas Carrol is the most excellent version of the story ever committed to film. That’s just a stone cold fact, right there.
This is truth.
But be warned that there *are* less Muppets in the novel than in the film

Every Christmas I listen to a recording of Sir Patrick Stewart doing a dramatic reading of A Christmas Carol.
Audible also has a version read by Hugh Grant and if you’ve really only seen the Muppet version, albeit excellent, you’re in for something special.
