Bacon is $74 a pound?
They probably buy it by a 10 or 15lb box. I used to buy it like that when I was a chef at a ranch.
Whew! I like an occasional piece of bacon, but not at $7.50 a slice 🤣
Also bacon at Publix is 11/lb so.. 😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yes, that’s a 15 pound box, sliced 10-12 slices per pound, so I am somewhere around 45¢ per slice of thick cut bacon. I put two of those slices on a breakfast bagel for $.90 cost per sandwich. I only charge $1 extra to substitute bacon…🍽️
Best way to view this is in percentage increases not the actual prices
Cod: $15-----$22.
I don't know where you buy your eggs, but I got a dozen this week at Trader Joe's for $5.99, that's $1 more than I've been paying since egg prices went up.
He’s buying for a business so I’m betting he buys in bulk
Costco Business Center for lots of this. The perfect blend of lowest prices and smaller case sizes, and it’s only 3 miles away!
That’s what I thought. Love Costco!
He's getting a good deal.
