Interesting concept. I like the idea of poetry as a journey to truth, too. But yes, falseness in a poem leaves me frustrated as a reader. A poem is not a poem simply because it is deemed so by its writer.

The concept of truth in poetry is also very interesting. Many people seem to think that a poem should be based on factual truth, whereas I believe it should seek its own poetic truth.
Poetry after my opinion has its own life, where it goes no one knows. By that I mean, how its read with your inner voice, outer voice, how its understood, used, and so on. All the different angles sums up eventually for some poets in a poem they read in universities.
