My wife's car broke down on the way to work today. She got to the side and put on the emergency blinkers. While calling AAA for assistance, a Trump emblazoned pickup flying USA flags slows down just to yell and flip her the bird. There's nothing political about our car. MAGA are just assholes.

She's uninjured. We even got the car running enough yesterday so she can get to work the next few days until we acquire a second vehicle. Didn't want to add a car payment to the bills, but no one around can fix the old car with cascading failures in less than a month and no rentals are available.

I think it also says a lot about their mindset when, seeing a car on the side of the road with emergency blinkers on and the driver on her phone, their split-second conclusion is that said person is just talking on their phone and being an inconsiderate nuisance and not possibly anything else.

Thank you, she's okay. It wasn't welcome after she was already shaken from avoiding an accident when the car lost power on the road. But there were also good people who stopped to see if she was okay and to offer help.
