Lil known pro tip: order via the restaurant's app if possible. They have to jack up their prices via doordash because doordash charges restaurants ~30% of the menu price to just be on the platform. Many restaurants are pushing their own apps now to avoid it. It still arrives via DD or Ubereats, but

it costs the restaurants less to outsource the driver than to pay ridiculous fees to be hosted on DD or UE. Going directly through their site/app, you get normal pricing plus guaranteed your tip goes directly to your driver instead of DD or UE being able to skim. 😁

I have noticed that and started ordering that way when possible.

Some of the restaurants I pick up from, especially sandwich shops and poke shops, have started putting stickers on their bags trying to get the word out to customers about it.

I'll have to look into that. I don't think many places deliver to us, unfortunately :( we literally live on the very edge of where most places stop delivering 🥲

Benefits of being to cheap to pay delivery fees at any price. Of course, this means instead of a burrito I had a hot pocket tonight. 😆

Lololol we're about to be at that point. We have sworn off Qdoba now. Also, their burritos were so much smaller tonight so they're dead to us lol
