Yes! No pundits. Long ago in Canada our National Network had to agree to one hour of news per day with no advertising as to prevent even the appearance of influence on facts. We need that back, democracy depends on it.

Um, well, how about CBC's News Network? Not news 24 hours but close.

The choice of whose stories are important enough to be told on the news can also be a lie, regardless of how unvarnished it is.

It's one of the reasons I'm here - it's about the only place I can find real news.

You mean like @cnn.com used to be? They went from the MOST TRUSTED news source IN THE WORLD to this.... what ever the hell "this" is....

Truth != truth. You can report something truthfully and still put spin on it. It doesn't even have to be intentional. That's why I prefer news outlets that are reputable, but transparently biased. Several services that claim to classify news by ideological bias - no clue if they're any good.

Just the facts, man. That's all i need.
