We could do with an attack minded central midfielder (8 rather than 10), the squad is bereft of that type of player

Longstaff was bought for that role according to Farky he's an 8 not a 6 or 4.

He's a bit betwixt and between... like Kamara. Neat and tidy, few frills, decent engine, but no great creative spark or ball-carrying. I hope he's not much more than a squad option when everyone is fit.
