Agreed. If you're not on it already, may I suggest a round of paxlovid + zinc, high dose Vit C and D and metformin for 4 weeks? Seems to reduce likelihood of long COVID by 40%. Certainly worked for me.

I also went 5.5 years covid free and am just now recovered from getting it for the first time. I was doing so well but I think 10 months is just too long to go without a booster.

Glad to hear that you're on the mend! I just got boosted 1.5 weeks ago (with last year's vaccine variety), but alas, that faint line still appeared today. 😢
