It may be time for the governors of blue states to hire the recently fired or retired military brass to come to speak to the their respective national guard troops to explain why it is illegal to accept an unlawful order from the commander-in-chief and is completely lawful to refuse to accept one.

It is a rare show of unity but ultimately undermines itself by being a mere condemnation rather than a declaration of intent to resist. We need strong leadership, not weak-kneed rhetoric right now. Nice to see my Gov on board but it's so half hearted it doesn't count as opposition.
