Gamescom was also just not the place for an announcement like this. It was simply a bad call. At the minimum they should have had a virtual Blizzcon.

Totally agreed all around. I appreciate them wanting to spread the wealth and let a number of content creators get interviews, but everyone's just letting Wowhead do all the work in collecting this stuff to look at later cos it's so dang hard to find everything oneself.
