If a literary agent is saying they only take clients who are easy to work with because the book-to-film adaptation process is stressful… run. That person has no idea what it means to actually be a literary agent.

Like, there are other reasons to want to work with people that are easy to work with. They could have just said that personality match was important to them. But no, they wanted to promise a film adaptation.
