Oddly enough, the Jinhao pen I have that doesn't seem to dry out is their really cheap plastic Jinhao 993 pen. It's not as tight a seal as something like a Platinum pen but it's pretty decent!

I've been meaning to pick up one of these, so fun, but they always seem to come in sets of 5 or more, and I don't need/want that many :) - even if the set is cheap. Just have to keep my eyes open for these I guess.

I'm not sure where you're located but if you're in the US I can link you to somewhere that sells this version of the pen individually! The ones I see in combo packs recently are a newer version of this pen that lack the triangular grip. I'm not sure how good they are compared to this version.
