Some iteration of the Fairness Doctrine, applied to the current media ecosystem, is necessary. When the pendulum swings back, it’s not clear that DEMS will know what to do with it.

Not only will reinstating the Fairness Doctrine not work, but trying to apply it across the entire media ecosystem is a massive first amendment violation, and gives the federal government too much power.
