I saw a PBS story last week here on Bluesky, showing that drowning is actually the #1 cause of death among children. I was surprised to learn this because we always here it is guns. And wouldn't you know it, iwas about tRump cutting funding to programs which help prevent drownings. 🤷🤦🤬
