No one is required to listen, but asking people not to speak out while animals are bred and killed for food is just demanding silence about injustice. What's called “harassment” here is just confronting normalized exploitation.

That's your right, but ignoring what happens to animals won't make the exploitation any less real. Refusing to engage doesn't erase the moral issue. Silence protects those who benefit from the status quo.
And posting about it on BlueSky I’m sure is SO effective and not just moral virtue signaling to assuage your own guilt without actually having to do anything of value 🙄
Speaking out is only called "virtue signaling" when people don't like being challenged. Vegan activism exists because animals can't advocate for themselves. If everyone stayed silent, nothing would ever change.
