i'm of the opinion that American politics started out as a prank that's long since gotten out of hand. Seriously fucked up over there.
I would even say it's a sitcom. Sometimes funny, sometimes boring, sometimes shit fucking depressing and sometimes bat shit insanity. Most of the times I can deal with that, I'm really interested in politics but there are some moments I just lose my mind on how fucking stupid and insane it is.
it's a soap opera where the writers are on all manner of drugs as are the actors. any comedy is purely unintentional.
