I seriously don't want to spend more money on a backup plan. More adventurous would be learning to live without the internet.

Ya, many people would be surprised how bad it would be with out the net. Sadly, Starlink seems to be the only descent solution that we would NOT use. Other sat nets suck, very limited bandwidth, poor performance, expensive. We use to use it, it stinks.
