Does nobody in the USA ride a bicycle? I walked and bused to school 80%; rode a bike to/from uni up/down big hills…

The roads around here are too fast and dangerous to ride a bike. I often commute by bicycle but I have a couple close calls a year with the psychos behind the wheel.

I mean the school is 15 miles from home and we have a deadly accident at least once a month so no, not an option. especially for kids.

Majority of non-city roads would be literally deadly to kids on bikes in the US.
