So, it's a common talking point that the poorest ten states are all red states. In reality, one of them, the poorest of all by some metrics, is New Mexico, which is very much a blue state.

The general point still stands ofc, I just think there's room to stick to the facts in one's talking points, especially for someone from a state that shares a border with NM, small though it is.
