It’s not cartoons. It’s not some governor-of-the-week holding an iPhone. Okay, I’ll grant them South Park for showing up this Moment. But the resistance isn’t these folks. It’s so much more than just this “look who we adore today” things that proliferate the BlueAnon world. It’s gross and cultish.
The resistance is a Black woman standing up in a congressional committee. It’s a Latino organizer joining the Mamdani campaign. It’s a 20-something barista who takes stock of what right wingers are coming in to the cafe. It’s Dem AGs, pick any one of them. It’s a massive coalition.

It’s not three folks. It’s definitely not three white folks. It’s most definitely not some “alt” accounts spewing misinformation for status and likes. We have to get away from this cult 💩. It ruins the whole effort.
This absolutely proliferated on Twitter during the American King’s first reign and it really undermined a lot of work. It’s the same folks doing this again, because it’s their cash cow. There shouldn’t be money in “resistance,” (sorry George S.) there should simply be selflessness and sacrifice.
