I never understood why DeBoer, who I have heard is a very good coach and mentor, left UW. He had a great program there and could have turned it into his dynasty. Instead he followed the legendary Saban, who still has influence, and will take the hit for the downfall of Alabama.
Though as a longtime Michigan and Big 10 fan, it’s good to see the long overdue overvaluing of the SEC come to an end.
I'm assuming Bama doubled his total earnings if not more and their boosters have 10x the money to spend on players. That said, you have a point about creating your own fiefdom and Seattle is a great place to live.
