Here are some of the trolls we saw on our vacation. The first is near Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The rest are in Washington state.

Mama Mimi - a large wooden troll built by the Danish artist, Thomas Dambo. She sits on the shore of a clear lake with one leg extended over the water. The sky is bright blue, the trees and foliage are spring green, and the lake is reflecting it all. Frankie Feetsplinter is part of the Way of the Bird King, designed and created by Thomas Dambo. One of the few trolls that are in urban areas, he stands in front of the National Nordic Museum in Ballard, WA. Oscar the Bird King is part of the Bird King series of trolls installed in Washington and Oregon. He is the largest, residing on Vashon Island. The trolls are designed and created by Danish artist, Thomas Dambo. Pia Peacekeeper is one of the trolls installed in the Way of the Bird, a series of trolls created by Danish artist, Thomas Dambo. Pia is on Bainbridge Island, a quick ferry ride from Seattle.
