How does it prove he's correct? If I walk into your favorite sports bar and loudly insult all the patrons and those patrons decide to lob insults back at me, it doesn't prove I was right to insult everybody to begin with. That's an asinine way to think about things.
The party needs its own to criticize it to make it better. If the party and its members aren't open to criticism, then it's no longer a liberal party but conservative. The fact there are so many posts on here demonizing Silver only proves his point.
Do you think people around here don't criticize Democrats? It's easy to find examples to prove that wrong, but I want to be sure of what exactly you're claiming here before I put in the effort.
