Great great song. Saw he just died this year at 85. But learned today he was married to Annette for 60 years and was Cook County Commissioner for 33 years after his music career. Great life ! #AT40

Indeed, didn't even know about his political career. I saw him pop up on a PBS music pledge drive special now and then.
