My insurance is the only reason I stay at my job. I could easily get another job at same or better pay, but I wouldn't have any insurance for six months or longer and don't want to have to kill a portion of my savings or sell investments, especially right now.
This is why the GOP is fighting to remove any government form of medical assistance. If healthcare is provided by the employer, people will be forced to stay in jobs just for the healthcare. This is like the factory home all over again.

I might add that they do not cover hearing, vision or dental which are common issues of old age and should be considered preventative services. Medicare quickly bills you for 4 months in advance, while Social Security takes their time approving social security benefits.
The same should be true of Congress. In fact, they should be bound to the same coverage the least of their constituents has. You'd see things get fixed doubletime.
