Young people on the right get visually disturbed, irrationally emotional, and hateful when a brown person says this is their country, too. What a horrible generation of racists being raised by my generation. GenX was supposed to be so much better than our parents.
A lot of it is the social media they ingest everywhere from the video game console to YouTubes they watch to learn to work out. The algorithms are awful and lead them down terrible rabbit holes of hate. Not saying they GenX isnโt responsible, but we canโt ignore another huge factor.

Personally I suspect there was a lot of FOX News etc. watched in their parentsโ homes, whose opinions Mom & Dad expressed support for. Young minds are fertile soil.

i think part of it is their parents are not navigating their kids. Those young people on Jubilee are types taht are habitually online and found some rabbit hole to indulge in.
The worst part is, itโs like theyโre doing it only to feel like they can make a difference, even if itโs a negative one. Getting themselves on center stage by preaching hate gives them purpose.
Their parents failed to teach them how to be decent humans.
I'm a Jones Boomer. My parents thought that money was the end-all of everything, and that lavishing gifts on us kids made up for the lack of guidance, oversight and affection (let alone real love). So they raised me hands-off, like an Xer. The freedom I had was exhilarating but deeply damaging.
Theyโre not serious people. Theyโre barely people at all. They have nothing to offer the world since they were never taught any other way โ outside physical appearance โ to make themselves stand out among rising competition.
We the World will teach them about consequences of being shitty humans, since their parents failed so spectacularly.

I have 3 millennial kids and 1 gen Z kid. I can honestly say none are racists. Iโm early Generation X. I blame the Internet for the racism much more than parents (usually), especially with male adolescents. They spend too much time alone online. I think it warps many of them. Itโs not healthy.
