This is the most offensive thing Iβve read recently. If you need a religion to tell you how to be good, youβre a weak person.

my response to those door knocking jesus fvcks.....I have managed to be a part of society without the "added value of some ahole telling me how to act-think-be"
I donβt even know what itβs like to rely on someone or something else to tell me how to be a decent person. And I damn sure wouldnβt admit it.
You come up with your own morality without any reference to the people or society around you? So you like, a Jedi or what
How very reductive, Zota.
Did Yoda give you your Jedi name, Pippi
Are you 11 yrs old?
Ohhh you want to have an adult conversation. Okay, Pippi. How do you think people decide what things they'd be willing to die for? Do they do it entirely in their own head without any concern or reference to society or the world around them?
Your initial premise is flawed. One's religious beliefs impacting one's personality/character is inseparable from impacts of environment, education, circumstances, upbringing, and personal experience. It's not an either/or proposition. We all have choices. So, okay, zota (video game name)-
That's a 'gotcha' question - waiting to belittle me. So, rephrasing the 'willing to die' question bc any 'answer' is hypothetical until the moment. Instead, how do YOU decide what you are willing to personally sacrifice and why? That's how to have a conversation.
Religion isnβt the only reference.
Dang you never had parents? I feel bad for you. That must have been a difficult struggle learning how to be a good person without any role models.
And yet you cannot control the weather. Religion is about more than just being told what to do. It's about knowing your limits. Even criminals are a part of society.

If you feel the need to call someone weak for believing in something bigger than themselves I'd say you're the weak one lol. Sit with that for a bit.
