The QTV-PWH match was one of those one doesn't pay much attention to and hope it's short & quick so we get to the next match. However they got our attention with all the crazy stuff and exceeded the low expectations by a distance... leaving us pleasantly surprised. #aew

Tbf I should say I was speaking for myself. I don't watch weekly ROH. Just trying to make a point about matches over-delivering lower expectations in general.
It was one of the matches I had been looking forward to on this show. PWH is a an old school wrestling fan who has stated on AEW shows that he bypasses Stamford for Jacksonville. So he had won me over. Plus the build has been good yet didn't take up TV time. Using pre show and social media.
I still wish he was wearing pants. Even Meanie was dressed more modestly. Lol
To be honest I have watched a few of his matches and considering what they did in this match I am kind of shocked he didn't wear jeans or pants. I recall watching his hard-core match against Cardona on Sami Callihans promotion and forget what he wore.
Man, PWH is a real one. Huge respect for this guy going all in wanting to be a wrestler & live out his dream while also having a legit acting career. I've seen how he listens intently to veterans' advice and really caring about wanting to do the best he can.
