ive even tried a slightly different tack with them, just saying "hey, maybe dont cast people being impacted by this shit as whiny babies if you want something from them?? maybe meet them where theyre at and acknowledge their grievances and show up for them, maybe youll be more convincing???"
but even thats met with "OH SO YOU WANT FASCISTS TO WIN???" like christ almighty theyre completely unwilling to acknowledge the harm their candidate does. if they do, they demand we accept it and wont even make a hollow promise to push back on them, its so frustrating
