1/2 It’s #MapMonsterMonday! John Wolfe’s 1598 map of southern Africa hosts a range of ferocious creatures. I love how elaborate some of the monsters are, but my favorite scene is with the two hippocampus frolicking in the interior lake. This map is held by a private collector.
