Absolutely despicable. As a former Labour voter I m appalled. I m not voting Labour again until they get some compassion!

Why can’t there be a political party that’s just normal. Just making decent, normal and fair decisions...I know the RW media make it hard but labour’s comms, choices & decisions have been beyond dire. I thought once the rotten Tories were booted out things would be better…more fool me 😢

As soon as you need funding from companies, lobbyists or millionaires, you stop being "normal" and start trying to make your donor's wishes sounds like your wishes. Publically funded parties and restrictions on other funding is a solution.

Because all pollies want board roles when they leave parliament, and organisational party wants big donations to keep their jobs, so they become captured by cashed up donors
