I'm George Floyd's color. The people protecting me from getting treated like George Floyd are NOT the ones at the front of protests. They're the ones raising their votes talking about our impending Civil War II, slamming GOP voters etc. They're the ones NOT living racist, Negro-free lives.
The "falling behind your KKK dues" line is a pretty good line. Well done. I'm half Chinese/half White, so I obviously cannot speak to anyone else's lived truth. From my perspective, I have worked with a lot of folks who might identify probably as Marxists who represent a viewpoint that is "left"
Most of those Marxists are right-wingers to me. They lead very light-skinned lives of color-coded segregation & inbreeding. They are FAR more interested in bashing Democrats than telling truth about Republicans. They lie constantly equating Republicans & Dems, blaming Dems for GOP antics.
Those "Marxist" leftist perfectionists do not acknowledge the huge gap between deep blue & deep red states in life expectancy, minimum wage, reproductive rights, education, infrastructure and numerous other measures. They are racist a$$holes just like their GOP relatives, friends & neighbors.
I don't totally agree but I can respect that I don't have the same lived experiences/lived truths that other folks have. I'm also not referring to Bernie Bros here FWIW, but more thinking back to campus activism days.
These ARE the Bernie Bros 2.0. They are a key part of the GOP. They're nothing like the campus activists of my college/grad school days at all. They work for the Republican Party.
I guess what I'm trying to say is I don't know the percentage of folks who are the sort of "woke scolds/purity test" folks who are genuine about it, versus foreign trolls, versus Trump supporters. My instincts are it's more the first two, but I'm curious to know why you think it's more the latter.
