They take an oath to follow the constitution, not some megalomaniac, so hopefully that oath will hold. We’ll see.

Yeah, but it's a (I believe) one time oath vs constant training to follow orders under penalty of court martial and possible dishonorable discharge. Plus, soldiers - Marines even, are not trained to de-escalate. They are trained to kill enemy combatants. I really hope nobody dies.
