Sluice is right up my alley. His vocal style and phrasing sometimes reminds of Kurt Wagner from Lambchop.

I don't recall how I heard them, but was pretty smitten with it right away. They're from Asheville and are opening for fellow Asheville dweller Angel Olsen on her upcoming tour (at least in my town) so I'm excited to get to see them both.
