One day history books will be written on how our government pushed attendance without mitigating schools for airborne transmission of COVID and simultaneously withheld vaccines to vulnerable children. Many children have died and children’s lives should matter more than attendance. Many children
it’s not much better here in 🇨🇦. while kids can get the 💉uptake is low because public health is modelling that COVID is effectively over. the media is fully complicit. no mitigation in schools or workplaces to speak of. and meanwhile on top of COVID there are measles outbreaks across the country.
Sorry to hear that. It’s hard to believe they are treating everything as normal.
and parents have suffered fines, ankle tags, been accused of living in fear over probably real health risks. This is the ugly truth and I refuse to let this government rewrite history on what’s happened in the UK.
Children have been ridiculed with high risk conditions for wearing a mask when they couldn’t get vaccines. What about the impacts of all of this on the children who are still going through this?

It also only showed 88 deaths, it’s much higher than that. I was following ons each week from day 1. We are fighting a giant with a toothpick. There is no justice.
The last sentence hits the sad truth. Our governments, leaders, even medical institutions, let alone the populace, are NOT going to learn the necessary lessons, nor are they going to change course, despite the mountains of evidence. All they want to do is bury the pandemic - and us - and move on.
I like the sentiment but human history is coming to an end.
