Too many candidates either run unopposed or run against a candidate with no shot at winning. I'm sure thers at least one Democrat in Iowa who can appeal to some of 30% of Republicans who want out of this mess.
I know there's already a Dem candidate, but now that Ernst is out, DNC will probably drop him to run a centrist/moderate against whoever the GOP candidate is. Ernst was the catalyst. I'm sure those 30% will likely vote R if it's not her instead of swinging the other way for a centrist/moderate dem
So, as always, the fault will be the DNC trying to appeal to voters by offering up the same old bullshit. It's their playbook.
