Maybe AI will, but LLMs aren’t AI. There’s some applications for them, but people are very quickly finding out they’re not actually useful in most applications, so the continued shoving of them into everything has been a colossal waste of resources and time.
I don’t know. Maybe don’t use them till the tech is made better. To each their own. I do find the subscription versions to be more reliable. (no huge surprise there)
LLMs are a dead branch. They will never be useful for everything, only very specific services. But because that’s the path that VCs have sold for untold billions, that’s what’s getting shoved into everything even though it clearly doesn’t work.
