I don’t like his insinuations that it’s a complicated issue because it’s not. It’s a non-issue really. Giving credence to this culture war issue is just blatantly throwing people under the bus and moving the Overton window right IMO

Yeah, he definitely needs some media coaching on it. For me it was more how he said it than what he said, a mistake professional politicians shouldn't make but I make all the time. I appreciate his wonkyness on infrastructure but hopefully the Dems find someone with more fire.

I really hope Bernie anoints AOC or someone from the gang, but the country is pretty racist and sexist so old white guy from Minnesota might be the play.
