Trump is eager to trash the dollar & replace it with his crypto scam. He has to get rid of Powell, at the Fed, to do it. This would cripple American government, perhaps permanently & give all his autocratic buddies boners.

I fear for his safety. Like, how long can this cat and mouse game between the government and the fed continue before Trump sends people to remove Powell and replace him with a loyalist? And don't give me that 'It would be illegal' bullshit. The law doesn't exist anymore in this country.
